I was recently invited to do some training on qualitative research methods for PhD candidates across the social sciences at the Catholic University of Leuven. The modules took place across two days on consecutive weeks where the the students spent the whole day thinking about their approach to qualitative research, developing their research questions and learning how to communicate and discuss their research.

The course is based heavily on group and individual work rather tan just talk-and-talk so not necessarily a set of presentations for those looking for a more prescriptive overview of different methods and theory.
